In 2020 I began writing poetry. My current giclée prints contain an entire poem, or a fragment of it. The words are often obscured. They become mass or line on the page. As with any work of art, I strive for good composition, good color, density or transparency, balance or imbalance. The content of the poem shapes my choices for the imagery that evolves. Combining my own words with my art provides a unique opportunity and exciting challenges.
